Dear DB.nomics Team,

I would like to help DB.nomics. I think I could help you improving Brazilian database (BCB and IBGE, the largest providers of public economic time series here in Brazil).

I already have some R code (written by me and a friend) to download a huge amount of data from BCB and IBGE.

Hello @henrique,

Thanks for your interest in DBnomics, and for proposing your help!

Is your R code published somewhere?

We already wrote a fetcher to download data from BCB: [https://next.nomics.world/BCB](https://next.nomics.world/BCB) (source code: [https://git.nomics.world/dbnomics-fetchers/bcb-fetcher](https://git.nomics.world/dbnomics-fetchers/bcb-fetcher)). We do not plan writing a fetcher for IBGE (you can see our [milestones](https://git.nomics.world/dbnomics-fetchers/management/milestones)).

What would you like to do to help? Did you find any problems that we could fix, or would you like to write a new fetcher?

Best Regards

Christophe
